In the Church
Without great teams, the very things we enjoy on Sundays at Epic—coffee, music, lights, words to our favorite songs, programming for our kids—would not exist.
Needless to say, team members are highly valued here!
More importantly, by serving on a team, we follow Jesus’s lead to serve. Jesus came to serve (Mark 10:45), and as we serve one another, we use our unique gifts to play a proactive part in our church, the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:18-27).
Our purpose is to make everyone who comes to Epic feel at home. We do this by greeting people at the door, serving coffee, helping people get seated, and welcoming new guests. All you need to be a part of the team is a friendly smile and the heart to help others have great, heart-warming experience at Epic.
This team enhances our worship experience by using sound, lighting, video, and stage design to help everyone see, hear, and feel the music and teaching at Epic every week.
If you’ve been involved with church production before, you might find we do things a bit differently. We believe Sunday mornings should be low-stress, no one should ever feel in over their head, and we should still be able to do great work that wouldn’t feel out of place at any world-class venue.
No experience necessary; we’ll make sure you’re fully trained and comfortable in your new role.
If you’re interested in learning more, contact us about these different service opportunities at Epic.
We’d love to hear from you if there’s another way that you feel call to serve.
We provide a safe, exciting, and age-appropriate environment for children from newborns to high schoolers. Roles include teaching Bible stories, assisting with activities and greeting families. If you have a love for children, help us invest and care for the next generation.
Epic’s band leads musical worship during Epic’s Sunday gatherings. Do you sing or play an instrument and love to play in a band? We’re looking for vocalists and instrumentalists to join our team. Send an audition video to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can see some general information for worship team members here.
This team carries out a number of critical tasks during business hours. Come help the staff at Epic with follow-up, preparation, and special projects.
Our creative media team consists of photographers, videographers, storytellers, content curators, graphic designers, and more. To find out more about this team or sign up email Isabell.
In the City
We want to be a church that loves and cares for people well, here in San Francisco and across the world. We accomplish this mission through partnership with strategic organizations, ministries, and churches who are doing great work. Join us by volunteering in the city with our local partners or participating in The Hope Project.
There are many ongoing opportunities to serve in the city by mentoring / tutoring students, serving the homeless, encouraging women, and volunteering at events.
The Hope Project
This annual initiative funds our strategic partners in San Francisco and across the world. Learn more about how you can use your resources to make a significant impact in the lives of others.
One of the most amazing discoveries you will ever make is to realize that God sent you to earth to do specific things. We aren’t supposed to just randomly do some things. And God isn’t asking us to do everything. But He is asking us to play the part He created us to play. Whatever God puts in you, He wants to bring out of you. At Epic, we want to give you an opportunity to play your part and use the significant gifts God has given to you. Check out the message below from Pastor Ben to learn how you can play your part.
